Google G1 is here!

Objectives
The launch needed to be impactful, include press, members of the public and customers. T-Mobile and Google were also keen to increase brand awareness, demonstrate key benefits of the G1 phone, generate a lead pipeline and sell this exciting new product.

Solution
The public and press were invited to the Flagship London Store for the early morning launch, there they were treated to all the buzz and excitement associated with Google’s G1. MotivAction Brand ambassadors were on hand, trained and familiar with the brand the product and were immediately able to engage with prospective customers and press.

Boffin bars were created to help people understand the G1 and Apps. Indirect marketing was supported by G1 advertising through plasma screens, giveaways and a competition.

Results
launched the arrival of the G1 in October 2008, a new handset exclusive to them which offered a completely new internet experience. The G1 was the first phone with the Android Market™
